H&R Community Development is a Florida based company with a passion for strengthening communities in South Florida, by helping people (who otherwise may not be able), to enjoy living comfortably.
Our goal is to stop foreclosures and rebuild communities by incorporating programs and services that support home ownership and bring neighborhoods to life.
We provide education and down-payment assistance through many different types of community grants, foundation grants and other real-estate government assistance. (More than 150,000 grants are given every year).
Our expectation is to grow to a thriving real estate social-service, so we could open the doors of home ownership and rentals, mainly to middle-low income families at affordable cost, with special emphasis to the elderly.
Germaine Smith-Baugh, president of the Urban League of Broward County: “Our role is to ensure that the opportunity for home ownership continues to be seen as part of the American Dream.” (Sun Sentinel)
